Robots, AI, and Stargate

Welcome to AI Collision 💥,

In today’s collision between AI and our world:

  • At the coalface of revolution
  • Robotics slam dunking, GPRs and Stargate
  • Influencer Monkey

If that’s enough to get the revolution underway, read on…

AI Collision 💥

There are times when written words cannot convey just how massive an opportunity can be. And sometimes, it pays to spend some time listening to the people who are right at the coalface of these massive developments.

I am convinced that the next wave of AI is going to be the integration of AI into real-world robotics, namely through autonomous systems (of which there are already many in the world) but also primarily through humanoid robotics.

I’ve covered both of these kinds of technologies for well over a decade now, and it’s taken about two years longer than I originally expected, but we are now on the verge of a real robotics revolution through general-purpose robotics.

There aren’t many pure-play ways to invest in this (yet) but of course when you look at all the parts that make up this technology opportunity you of course look to the big hardware, semiconductor and connectivity companies, like Nvidia, AMD, Intel, Taiwan Semi, Micron, Broadcom, Oracle, Cisco (and more).

When the pure-play robotics companies start hitting the market we’ll be taking a hard look at their investment case. But until then you should start to really hear from people right at the coalface of AI and robotics.

Here’s three interviews I’ve seen this week that I think are worth your time. They help me to understand deeper what’s going on, and the unfathomable scale at which it’s taking place, and I believe it’ll help you too.

A way to get in early on Starlink’s potential $180 billion IPO

James Altucher, a Silicon Valley legend, is revealing a strategy to potentially profit before what he sees as a historic Starlink IPO. Known for his success in spotting lucrative opportunities, he’s now sharing a way for investors to act ahead of Elon Musk’s estimated $180 billion launch – with just £40 and a few minutes of time. Don’t miss out.

Capital at risk.

From the hive mind 🧠

  • I think the headline “AI-nthony Joshua” hooked me here more than the story. And it reminds me of a Hugh Jackman movie. But still, fighting robots is kind of interesting, now they’re humanoid ones of course.
  • AI at the CIA? Yes, I want to know more about that please. Of course, maybe you’ll never really know just how the CIA are using AI, but at least this is a bit of an intro to the concept.
  • Speaking of Google, it must be some kind of special tech to draw founder, Sergey Brin out of retirement. But that’s exactly what AI is…

“To me, programming is more than an important practical art. It is also a gigantic undertaking in the foundations of knowledge.”
